Period: First half of the 18th century

Lombard chest of drawers with 4 drawers Louis XV of the first half of the 18th century in walnut, walnut root and fillets with dimensions of 106 x 137 x 60 cm. Elegant and refined chest of drawers with shaped front with decorated inlays in all drawers and a movement to give more verve and vivacity to the cabinet itself. The high-relief carvings and the double central recess that run along the side pilasters and frame this 18th-century 4-drawer chest of drawers represent an important decorative element with intense chiaroscuro in the sobriety of this piece of furniture. The cabinet is made of walnut and burr wood with bright and imaginative fillets and rests on onion feet. The 4 large drawers emphasize their subdivision by means of a molded frame that frames them. Inside this slightly protrude five tiles on each drawer with an elegant inlay in the central part, in the two elongated and in the central one the wooden handles are attached, while in the central one there is the patch for the keys. A beautiful play of wood and inlays is well present on both sides and at the top.
