18th Century Dutch Game Table SOLD
Period: Second half of the 18th century
Measures H x L x P
SOLD Dutch game table inlaid in various woods, measuring 73 x 80 x 36 cm in depth when closed and 70 cm when open. Dutch game table supported by four curved legs; in the under-top band, shaped in the lower part, there is a drawer with a bronze handle. The top can be opened like a book, supported by the support of one of the rear legs, which can be extracted thanks to a door mechanism, and has poly-lobed corners, inlaid with foliage and decorative vases. The entire surface of the table is richly decorated: on the mahogany background, floral motifs are inlaid with various essences. The inlay of the small top is particularly refined, where leafy volutes branch out from a central vase. The paintings and works of art published here are my exclusive property and, as a result, are always available to be viewed in person, by appointment, at my exhibition venues located in Sanremo and Brescia. The work, like all our objects, is sold accompanied by a FIMA photographic certificate of authenticity and lawful origin; this document identifies the object, adding value to the article. We personally take care of and organize the packaging and shipping of works of art with insurance worldwide. Dr. Riccardo Moneghini Art Historian
